Founded in 1924, Hillsborough County Council PTA/PTSA is an organization made up of some of the most talented and passionate child advocates in the state. it is comprised of a diverse and vibrant group of men, women, and youth dedicated to improving the lives and education of children across Hillsborough County, the State of Florida, and the United States. We are always looking to add individuals of diverse backgrounds, talents, and vision to our ranks to make this organization bigger, better, and stronger. If you think you’d like to be a part of an organization dedicated to children, choose one of the options below to get involved.
For those of you who have been a local unit officer, or served as an HCC PTA/PTSA board member, you are eligible to run for a position on the Executive Committee, comprised of the elected officers. If you don’t meet one of those qualifications, but are still interested in getting involved, please consider serving as a committee chairperson or member.
Elections will be held at Spring Training on April 28, 2018.
Officer applications are due no later than March 16, 2018 at 11:59pm.
The slate of candidates will be posted on March 28, 2018. Any candidate who is not slated, and wishes to run from the floor must notify the HCCPTA President, Melissa Auker, of their intent to run, and for what office, no later than April 12, 2018 at 11:59pm. Elections will be held April 28, 2018 at the HCCPTA Spring Training event. All candidates are encouraged to attend.
HCCPTA is currently seeking interested candidates for the 2018-2019 Executive Committee. All positions are open. To be considered, complete the application no later than March 16. Candidates may be asked to attend an interview either in-person or via telephone on 3/27 at 12:30pm. To qualify, candidates must have been an elected officer at a local unit or an HCCPTA board member.
HCCPTA is looking for talented, passionate child advocates to join our team in the 2018-2019 school year. We have opportunities for people of all availabilities, backgrounds, and talents.
